PROJECT 365

June 29, 2009 ~ I finally am going to take a class to learn how to use my camera just a little bit better. I'm hoping this will give me some tools that I don't already have.

June 30, 2009 ~ These are the roses Eric and I sent to my mom for her last day on the job. She had worked for the same person for the last 19 years. The man wasn't a very nice person, and I'm very glad she is out of that situation once and for all. I know it's going to be a hard road ahead, but I think it will be a better one in the long run. The card says 19 roses for 19 years of great service and to a new chapter.

July 1, 2009 ~ Took a trek down Sooner today. Eric wanted to see what kind of a drive he should expect when he transfers to OU in the spring. It only takes about 15 minutes so we figure with parking it will be about 30 minutes for him. On our way back home we stopped here at Pei Wei the best dang Chinese place around. I miss that we don't live closer to it. We had one within 5 minutes of our old house. I love me some Sweet and Sour Chicken with all the goodies mixed in.

July 2, 2009 ~ Well here they are the books read in June. See I told you it wouldn't be nearly as many as May. I didn't have a gimp finger restricting my activities this month.

July 3, 2009 ~ It's all your fault Pam. We embarked on cleaning out the pond again this year. That wasn't originally in the plans for this summer, but my cousin Pam had other plans in store for me. She asked me if she could have some of my Lilly pads and of course I told her she could. In order to get to them though we had to clean the pond just due to all the funk that was in it from the last few years. Needless to say I was able to cut 6 Lilly pad plants into 21 different plants. Not only did Pam get the plants she wanted, but so did my Mom and my Aunt Sharon. At the end of the day I guess I should really be thanking Pam for making me do this because it made me get off my but and get the stuff ordered so we might be able to put fish in soon.

July 4, 2009 ~ Happy Independence Day!!!! This picture I fell in love with. It really was just a lucky catch. The man standing in the middle just happens to be my brother. The shot turned out to be truly amazing. Especially since it rained off and on all night long. We really had some soakers on the 4th.

July 5, 2009 ~ Home Sweet Home. After working my tail end off all weekend all I wanted to do was sit on the couch and veg for the rest of the day. I'm still trying to recover from the weekend. Which means no I haven't started my diet yet. Hopefully I will get on that soon.
Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. I know I did.
